Kamakan Live & Monstrous! is a live stag e adaptation of the book. Featuring Dr Theodolite as storyteller and his Yeti butler. Kamakan Live has all the thrills of the original story plus comedy, illusions and puppets - lots and lots of puppets.

I produced two versions of the live show; the first being a simple storyteller recital with sound effects and projections of the book's illustrations.
Actor Steve Bloor gave an entrancing and energetic performance, reciting the entire book word for word without a single mistake - remarkable!
The sell-out show played to schools and family audiences at Theatr Colwyn, Colwyn Bay

This was produced with M agic Light Productions in association with Theatr Colwyn.
Magic Light are experienced magicians, puppeteers and theatre producers who crafted an amazing production which was fast-moving and enormous fun.
In this version we created a Steampunk theme and Steve Bloor returned as the storyteller, Dr Theodolite, return from his adventures with the amazing tale of Kamakan. He is assisted by his butler, a 7ft Yeti with animatronic eyes.
The shows sold out and proved a huge hit with families and schools.
